The altercation erupted on Grampian Boulevard when a son allegedly stabbed his father during a heated argument around 10 a.m., according to investigators. In response, the father fired a gun. The bullet passed through the son’s girlfriend before hitting the son, police said.
Despite the dramatic nature of the incident, no fatalities were reported. All three individuals suffered non-fatal injuries and are expected to recover, authorities confirmed.
“This was an isolated incident, and there is no threat to the public,” PSP stated in a release.
Charges are pending as police continue their investigation, with the final decision resting with prosecutors.
Further details about the case will be released as the investigation progresses, PSP said.
